Rachhita Dhungel

Ms. Rachhita Dhungel holds a Master’s degree in Disaster Management from BRAC University and has over six years of experience in program coordination, development communication, and GESI mainstreaming, with a focus on disability-inclusive DRR. She has worked with organizations such as CARE Nepal, IPAS Nepal, ActionAid Nepal, UNICEF, and Atullya Foundation, where she served as GESI focal person in the development of USAID’s TAYAR Nepal-funded Disability Inclusive DRR resource book. Her expertise includes program monitoring, proposal and report writing, data collection and analysis, training facilitation, and knowledge management. She has also coordinated multimedia and communication campaigns, including UNICEF’s earthquake response (C4D), and managed documentation for Winrock International and PSI Nepal. With strong skills in research, stakeholder engagement, and GESI integration in project outcomes, Ms. Dhungel brings extensive experience in ensuring inclusive and equitable approaches across development and humanitarian initiatives.
