Stakeholder Consultation and Co-Creation Workshop to Establish WHDRRP at Bagmati Province
Women Humanitarian and Disaster Risk Reduction Platform – WHDRRP has organized stakeholder consultation and Co-creation workshop on March 20-21, 2022 to establish the WHDRRP at Bagmati Province. The event will help Fostering Women Leadership in Disaster Risk Reduction and Humanitarian Action. The event was supported by the Asian Disaster Preparedness Centre (ADPC). In the workshop representative from MoFAGA, MoWCSC, representative of local government and participants from 13 districts of Bagmati Province working in DRR, emergency response and community development were actively participated. At the end of the workshop, the participants has formed 13 members of task group of WHDRRP Bagmati Pradesh, finalized ToR and developed an action plan of the platform. The workshop was facilitated by WHDRRP Coordinator Krishna Karkee, Advisor Indu Pant Ghimire, and members Anjalina Karki, Shakti Gurung, Jwala Panday, and Hema Shrestha.
