Mineral Blocks Training to Livestock Farmers, Matihani Municipality
A three-day training program was organized from 23rd to 25th April 2023 for 30 livestock farmers. The aim of the program was to provide technical training on mineral block production and to offer cash assistance to facilitate household production. The program was conducted by the agriculture officer of CDMS and the livestock officer of Matihani Municipality. The training will help farmers to adopt low-cost technology to improve milk and meat production through proper nutrition. Female farmers from wards 1, 7, and 9 of Matihani Municipality were selected to participate in the program. The farmers will receive cash assistance through the bank to start their own production and continue the practice.
