1000 Fruit Plantation in Barren Areas and River Beds in the Ownership of Local Representatives of Matihani Municipality
The event conducted on 28 September 2023 to plant 1000 trees in barren land within Matihani
Municipality’s three wards 1, 7, & 9. The Project aimed to restore and enrich the environment by
afforesting unproductive land, promoting ecological balance, and involving the community in
sustainable environmental practices. This event was conducted in collaboration with 16 local farmers of river bed and executed by CDMS Organization. The project aimed to transplant 400 mango, 300 Lemon and 300 litchi saplings in barren lands, school premises, hospital grounds, and guthi land.
