**𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓: 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐝𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞**
Organized a five-day residential training in Bardibas from 16 to 20 March 2025. The program brought together Climate Fellows and municipal officials from nine project municipalities, along with representatives from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Communication, and Law, Madhesh Province, to enhance their capacities in strengthening climate and disaster-related plans and policies.
The sessions featured participant-led technical training, GIS mapping exercises and discussions on integrating gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) into disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM) strategies aiming to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to support data-driven decision-making, planning, and budgeting for disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation.
